so your valve should be open and the boiler firing up.

You would think wouldn`t you, but with just the HW on, the boiler wont even start, no lights, nothing.

if i turn everything off, i can`t turn the boiler on. If i turn the HW on, the boiler wont come on. If i turn the CW on, the boiler comes on. If i turn both CW and HW on, the boiler stay on, but because it`s warm here with me keep having to boil water, the CH is to warm so the boiler light is on but not firing up. If that all makes sence.

how do i check them. And on the boiler stat the 3 wires are black red and grey. One the boiler stat control there are numbers 1, 2 and 3. Do you know what colours go to what number ?
