And you believe that b*llshit?

If he truly believed in the 'public good' he'd hand over the ownership of the seabed he 'owns' to the public he allegedly so wants to 'help'!

What; so the public could vote another load of charlatans and bell-ends in, who'd rinse it for them and their mates?

have a tantrum for 6 years,

The anti-EU campaigners moaned for 40 years, and are still moaning now, nearly six years after they "won."

I promise to stop commenting 40 years after the Brexit vote.

Or possibly sooner.

The comments about brexit aren't bitterness. They are mostly genuine amazement and exposing why people were misled, or misinformed.

We've left, got to get on with it.

All we want are the benefits. The reasons we left. Once they outweigh the benefits of being in, it is an unassailable argument.

Feel free to point them out. If there are no benefits then please explain what you voted for ? Personally, as evidenced by so many on here, many voted against the EU but not actually FOR anything.

Since the UK left the EU there have been some thing in the order of

7000 new directives / rules / regs issue by the EU pencil pushers and paper shufflers ??

your point being ?

That we had no input into anything, but may be affected by some for import and export or similar ?

My prediction is that the remoaners, while being undemocratic whiners, actually needn't worry too much, as there are lots of very rich, corrupt and powerful forces on their side.

Starmer will probably be the next PM. He may well sign us up to some sort of very obedient trade treaty with the EU, supposedly just to solve a few issues, possibly even involving giving them some cash every year. Then, just as has always happened, this will evolve like a cancerous tumour and eventually become EU membership in all but name.

This has been the story of the EU all along - it started as a trading club then quietly evolved, is still evolving and will not stop until it directly rules over all of Europe's people with an iron fist.

Sunak and Starmer have no substance. Sunak has about 6 months to turn a corner and show some flair. Either way, I doubt we will be able to tell the difference between governments as long as Starmer keeps the loons at bay.

There will be mileage in "fixing Brexit" for who ever is successful. That may well be back to the BRINO scenario. I don't have a problem with that. I just wanted our contribution to match our influence.

I see the anti-EU campaigners are still moaning. Will they ever stop?

It would be undemocratic for you to have exclusivity for the next 33 years.

Would you like to take a bet £10 to charity who ever mentions Brexit/EU next?
