Is Stockton on Tees a ****hole?

A lot of courses are structured to allow students to work. There are plenty of companies who give students work. I have 2 working for me. They are self employed which means they can claim their computer, phone, broadband etc as work expenses. They split the job. Plus the Uni gives them flexibility on attendance because the work is related to their degrees.

They will Graduate with a degree in 3 years and almost 2 years relevant part time work experience. I suspect I will be competing to hire them.

Self employed, working for you.

Just for you, or genuine self employed
There's not a part time job on the planet that will sustain a student living in a city plus their fees. MBK is yanking your chain. He lives in an alternative white Tory world.

IR35 compliant.

@noseall. just because you couldn't do the work, doesn't mean others can't. Obviously, I don't hire people who are studying art history or politics.

There are dozens of firms doing this. IT, Engineering, FinTech etc. There are agencies who specialise in finding them.

Studying, working and the hassle of self employment.

I know full tine working people who can't afford to live.

Self employment earnings must be good at his place

He's talking about his sailing buddy Lord Bigwallets' kids and their enormous trust fund. Talks out of his pale, male stale arris. There's no full time student on the planet that earns enough to live in a city and pay tuition fees.

You'll never break the class ceiling, that you put there yourself, if you jump to the conclusion that Daddy's contacts got them the job.

google "work while you study"

No, I’m saying they were trusting. If someone in power told you their version of events, asked you to back them and you had no other way to check facts, would that make you 'gullible'?
Tell me how the Lib dems voted

All the job adverts in the world won't change this....

You stick with that argument.. hopefully your kids wont miss out on opportunities because you told them they've no chance of getting "those" type of jobs, because Daddy doesn't go sailing with the boss and their staffy / yam yam accents wont get them past the first interview.

You've no clue how much positive discrimination occurs in big companies due to diversity goals. I've worked in places where I knew I had to push the "brown" females above the "white" males because of "goals" when hiring graduates.
