We were discussing the specific word "jihad".
That we are even discussing the word demonstrates how provocative it is.
For once, i see the Home Sec's point: the last thing we need is UK Muslims going on a rant about the treatment of Palestinians in Gaza. Going on about banning the word will only incite eejits to rub one out in opposition to her demand. A caution under public order offences should be enough.
