Well, try this: in UK a micro minority of people practice blood sport (are you referring to fox hunting?)We don't all practise blood sports. That's the point, about labelling everybody as the same
99% of the population do not.

The historian David Starkey has claimed Rishi Sunak has not engaged with the coronation because he is “not fully grounded in our culture”.Lucy Worsley is fun and entertaining, and she has got a lot of people interested in history - but she is completely woke, and so you won't be getting the right history from her. David Starkey is also fun and entertaining but non-woke and this is why he is not on the BBC. His podcasts are great and his television series "Monarchy", from about 20 years ago, is excellent.

Virtually everyone in authority over us is unelected. Who voted for Ritchie Sunak? Did you vote for lockdowns; power station demolitions: mass immigration; hyperinflation etc etc? By choice I would not give money to any of those things.Head of State and his ilk who is totally unelected
Being accused of "racism" and not having books published does not mean he is wrong. The historian David Starkey has claimed Rishi Sunak has not engaged with the coronation because he is “not fully grounded in our culture.......Starkey, who has been accused of making racist remarks in the past.........HarperCollins UK said it would not be publishing any further books by Starkey'.
It is the assertion that white people are evil. It came out of the black rights movement in America in the 1960s.What is woke?

Your partial quote of my previous statement deliberately excluded the part in which I stated that none of it stands up to analysis.Isn't that enough. Stronger than any of the feeble arguments against.
Pity there's no truth in his opinion then eh.As Billy Bragg stated recently, you could make a lot more from tourists if Buck Palace became a public venue and you could pay a few quid to stand on the balcony and wave.
Buck palace 550k visitors a year...Pity there's no truth in his opinion then eh.
Vatican, nearly 7M per year.Buck palace 550k visitors a year...
Versailles 10 million visitors a year...
Which of the respective countries has a monarchy and which doesn't?
Feck all to do with monarchy you figure twisting pillock. Versailles sits in 2014 acres, Buck house sits in just 39. 50 times the capacity but only 18 times the visitors. Buck house open to visitors for just a couple of months of the year, Versailles is open every day of the year with free entrance to the absolutely massive park and gardens . Do you think those facts might have some bearing on the number of visitors per year?Buck palace 550k visitors a year...
Versailles 10 million visitors a year...
Which of the respective countries has a monarchy and which doesn't?
So following that high level logic, he would have to assert anyone in the UK (black, brown, white) who isn't engaged with the coronation isn't grounded in the UKs culture? He has no way of knowing if Rishi is or isn't engaged and if not, the reasons why. Let's say Rishi couldn't give two hoots about the coronation, it might have absolutely nothing to do with his cultural background. The historian David Starkey has claimed Rishi Sunak has not engaged with the coronation because he is “not fully grounded in our culture”.
Maybe, but born in England for the last 285 years. How many years for the Jerry crack to be old?English maybe but of strong German descent, no?
