As few as possible, as many as essential.

What I want to see is processing and returning, or processing and allowing to work quickly.

There are obviously going to be some awkward cases, they need to be reduced.

I cant see any policy of pushing them back in the channel actaully ever working, so either allow them to apply before arriving or process quicker.

I think they, well the new government are going to struggle to recruit a new Border Security leader (czar?) It's a poison pill as options are governed by gangs operating outside of the UK and even the EU. The job description may well read 'take the fall for the government commitments' when it all falls over.

I'm not a labour supporter, I don't have any inside info.

But I'd expect steps are being taken. If not then they deserve to be attacked.

But not after a month. Only a fool thinks a month is enough

I think you'll find that most on here will criticise Labour if they fail on this. Don't panic...
