only if you dismantle part of them.
nothing was dismantled

the Rwanda plan never worked and was never going to work

even if by some miracle asylum seekers started being sent there it only had places for a few hundred.......so it was never going to be a deterrent

The protestors have fallen right into Keir Stalin's hands. He's got just what he wanted and now will clamp down on our freedoms, mainly free speech. At the same time, he's toughening up sentencing for anyone right of centre who protests about little girls being slaughtered due to mass immigration, but if there a BLM riot he'll be on his knee.

He's made sure poorer pensioners will be shivering thie winter and given their money to certain workers whose unions are propping up his government. Wait until his first budget, we're all going to get screwed and he can indulge in a bit of old fashioned wealth redistribution.

Is anyone else thinking The Tories weren't so bad after all?

No because none of that is true

What restrictions on free speech.
Slaughters due to mass immigration.
Poor pensioners will get heating allowance.
Sorting out overdue pay issues.

Hyperbole

You mean Rwanda ?

Remind us of the cost, and then how many were sent there?

Sir Keir announced in the spring that he would stop the Rwanda scheme and he did so without any alternative in place. Crossings have surged since.

You cannot argue that illegal immigrants are left in limbo when you remove the mechanism in place designed to remove them.

We will see how labour performs on this issue but so far it’s not looking good.

Not really true for 2024. And my comment is taking account of the seasonal peaks.

Because it was scrapped.
And evidence of migrants trying their luck in Dublin suggests it was having a deterrent.

Immigration is an issue.

Rwanda policy wasn't an answer. None of the Tory policies were working on it.

Labour could yet fail too. The pressure is on, but pointless continuing spending millions doing nothing. Spend it elsewhere.
