franco was in power in what the 70's . helped into power by Hitler & mussolini . died of natural causes afaik

A woman has recently been jailed in Spain for taking the mick out of an admiral , one of Francos ministers who was assaninated in the 70's Article in the independant last week on the case. she got 1 year.

Every year the UK exports 30,000 live animals for slaughter

They travel in dire conditions that some do not survive . & when they reach there destination , often a country beyond Europe where welfare rules are less strict or non existent , perhaps North africa or the middle east , they can face ritual slaughter with out being stunned FOR RELIGIOUS FESTIVALS.

I see you are attacking Jewish religious laws. What has that to do with the EU? British law has always allowed exemption.

arse end probably has no real feelings for animal welfare. If he did he would realise that by Brexit any voice for animal welfare would the only affect UK, not EU, where apparrently his concerns lie.
