Making the jab compulsory

It has to be made mandatory to protect stupid people

Like the ones I see walking along in the middle of nowhere with their masks on. Or the ones driving alone in a car wearing one. Are you saying that blind, unthinking obedience makes you smart? Something about guidance of wise men and obeyance of fools comes to mind.

My understanding is the Govt and companies involved would be within their legal rights under health and safety law.
Total boll@x.
You mean Elf & Safety?
The same Elf & Safety laws that go together with Data Protection laws when ignorant people want to scare others, thinking that we're all stupid?
Let's find this Elf & Safety law which says that an employer can force workers to be injected with anything or they get sacked.

That sounds about right. Companies in general might well include it in a contract of employment. The airlines are preparing covid passports currently - different reasons. Others may have similar ideas for similar reasons.

Personally I feel pure and simple antivaxers should have it shoved up the anus with a dildo. A larger one if they are active in trying to get other people to do the same.

The worriers. Well initial effects are now very clear. Some but nothing terrible. Some notice nothing at all. I felt a bit off the day after. Probably other reason for that. Days 4 to 6 what I would describe as a very light just noticeable headache and a bit of lethargy. Maybe a bit phlegm on a couple of days. No arm ache but that's usual for me. My wife similar but arm ache for several days - normal for her.

Long terms effects. Just how long will people wait. 1 year, 2 years, 10 ???. Probably faced with alternatives later in the year - new versions of the same thing as boosters not starters. All that will happen with all is that the immune system will do it's thing. That will still happen even if it doesn't help when people catch the virus.

People over 50 - simple really the best option for catching it and getting through it with a chance of being unharmed. Death is only part of the story. 40's, maybe or later 30's hospital - outcome suggest that some will be unhappy that they didn't get a jab - if alive after treatment, most will be. There are some buts in that age range.

Surely those working in care homes and hospitals should have it made a condition of employment

????

Plus travelling abroad could become difficult some countries may insist on it before they alow u
To enter there country ?

It's going to be mandatory in practice. Which is good, that way everyone gets a jab without us having to worry about scraping fatty scorch marks off parliament Square.

Protecting peoples health is important, but foreign holidays will clinch it.

Could be a requirement prior to entering private property ?

security guards at Tesco’s etc checking to see if u have a certificate prior to letting u in ?

school children ? No proof of vaccination then no school ?

dental practices

hair dressers

Over my dead body.
I'll torch myself in parliament square if they pass a law allowing this.

Did you know, people usually die of suffocation when they are burned to death, and not cardiac arrest from the intense pain. All the oxygen is burned out of your lungs.

Anyway, a sniper will probably shoot you before you can light a match.

But the jab doesn't stop you getting it or passing it on. Why does everyone always miss these points?

If it did everything AND made you sh1t gold ingots on your birthday, there are people who'd find a way to not believe it. Evidenc is emerging that it DOES slow transmission; and trial data confirms that it massively reduces the risk of serious illness. I made up about the gold.

Yes it's well known that they can't be sure that it will stop the spread, thats why they are saying when you have the jab, carry on distancing etc .. the hope is that the vaccine will lessen the severity for those who contract it and thus help to stop the NHS crashing from oldies like me filing up the ICU wards.. The way I see it if enough take it hopefully most will only suffer symptoms that wont put them in hospital ? And somewhere out there a light at the end of a very long tunnel..

If the jabs means you don't cough, then that alone will help reduce the chances of it spreading

There is a difference between the state making it compulsory, requiring legislation and an employer requiring it. The employer only has to have a reasonable justification for requiring it, which would be easy. An airline could make it part of their terms and conditions, land owners part of the licence to occupy.
