I hate all those [insert name of tosspot "celeb" chef] feed your family of 20 for 2p a day types. Maybe they don't realise some of these families don't have a cooker, if they did, probably couldn't afford the gas / electricity. Poverty, certainly a vicious circle.

All been discussed no end..Loads of reasons why people end up in Poverty..No simple solution...Throwing money at everyone is not the answer.

So really it has little to do with lack of money and everything to do with buying and consuming the wrong type of food. Fruit is a lot cheaper than crisps and clear water is free along with being considerably better than fizzy pop.
that's right -the good old daily mail victim blaming.

people cant eat because they dont have any money -it is hogwash to suggest they are eating the wrong food.

a big problem these days is the housing market.

I heard a women on the radio yesterday -both her and her husband worked, but after the £1200 a month for rent they struggle to make ends meet. She said makes proper meals for her children but often lives on porridge herself.

so what are they buying fastfood, crisps and pop with? And how can they be obese if they have no money.
I am all for helping genuine people who can not afford to buy food, but do wonder if some just need to manage their money better.

Are the people going hungry buying fast food and fizzy drinks? You claim they are, some might, but that's doesn't mean all of them are. For a relevant comparison, some people object to BLM and some of those **** on monuments to dead police officers. It'd be stupid to say all do. Just as it'd be stupid to claim all the people who struggle to pay for food are struggling because they **** it away on deliveroo.
