I think the right time for the Monarchy to be abolished is edging closer and closer. They're increasingly-irrelevant in today's society and in my opinion I think it's hard to justify why we even have one. I frequently have this discussion with my other half's family who are pro-Royal. They tell me they "do so much good for the country" and to that I have always asked -- "name me one thing they've truly done for the good of this country". I've yet to receive a decent reply.

End it when Liz leaves this Earth and do what France did and open all all their many homes and estates, charging tourists to enter them.

Unfortunately the 'taking back control' soundbite isnt true.

Brexit will hand control to the EU and other key trade blocs like the US.

The UK will end up with far far less control, which is a real shame.

Although the Royals dont really have a purpose now, Id prefer it if they stayed.
