After watching that video, I will be surprised if he doesn't receive a custodial sentence.
He sucker punched the guy, doesn't matter what the argument was about, absolutely unbelievable.

If the guy deserves locking up after a full investigation, then good. Looking at the video it looks likely.
But I'm waiting for the info and the fair trial.
If you interpret that as defending him that's your choice.
Has he been charged yet? Why not if it's so simple a case ?
Hopefully like the other major public interest case at present with video evidence of punches being thrown it takes at least two months for any charges to be brought we wouldnt want two tier policing and him to be charged within days because he is an MP

I'm sure the MP for Runcorn will get help coming up with a defence. But so far no arrest or charges.
