Natural Beauty spots and the countryside ruined by Dog Poo

I was just thinking the other day that there are far more responsible owners than when I was a kid. Nobody picked up their doggy-doo doo back then and I can't recall ever seeing a dog poo bin.

i dont remember there being as many dogs around 50years ago

I'm fed up of having cat schitt in my garden. Easiest answer was to train my cats to schitt in next door's instead.

Perhaps, I suppose as there are more people they're are more dogs.

I don't recall it even being law to clear up after your dog even 20-30 years ago. I still think people are better these days. Not perfect by a long shot but better.

I watched the recording back for ages then a dog I didn't recognise walked past on it's own and dropped the bomb

got them down my part of the world,yes they just fine people for dropping fag ends,easy money but why does it take 2 of their highly trained operatives to issue a single ticket .

50 years ago people definetly did not fling plastic bags with dog shy..te in the bushes..now that is defo certifiable fekin crazy behaviour.

There was a family near here that got 12 years each in jail for hanging their 5hit in trees along a disused railway track. A tip off from a travel agent help clear that lot up.

You see the occasional dog poo but you do not see the fast food litter that's strewn everywhere?
The litter that will take many many years to break down as compared to the poo that will be gone after the next rain.
The local tidy up campaigners have done little pickup the poo pictures sprayed on the paths, I counted 17 within about 30 yards last time, they look a bloody mess.
Now the nicer weather is arriving we are going to get more and more bottles, beer cans, single use bbq's etc. in the local park - far far more than the occasional poo.

I too am annoyed when I see un picked up dog poo, IM waiting til I actually catch someone in the act - they will be offered a coupe of bags as they have obviously forgot theirs.
I always have dog bags on me even when im not out with my dogs.

The problem is people, they are lazy barstwerards, having a dog is nothing to do with it - these are the same people who leave the fast food crap all over the place spoiling the area.
