I think it is superb idea for my extension, as I never installed roof lights, so now I will get one of them round cutters and install half a dozen empty lemonade bottles, (this itself will not need any bleach, and lemonade never goes off, or goes green, so this is my patentable idea, using lemonade instead of water!
And I am likely to save 180Watts of energy per hour, or total of about 1.5K wh during the day light hours, in my side extension as it does not have any windows. so that works about (electricity around 12p per kilo watt hour, therefore it would save me 1.5Kwh per day at 18p = £65.70 plus VAT @ 5%.
