What is surprising is that although there have been terrorist attacks by Islamic fundamentalists, the number of attacks has been relatively low.
When you consider the level of chaos in the Middle East and the numbers of Middle Easterners in Britain and Europe, it has been fortunate that there hasn't been a lot more of a reaction to what's going on in Palestine and the wider region.
This would indicate that most Muslims are law abiding, hopefully that will continue.
However the deeper the West gets involved in the chaos in the middle east, the greater the danger of a backlash against that involvement.
