New workers rights?

I'm sure people can look up "the successes of Brexit" themselves.

Britain has only just been re-admitted back to the Science hub of the EU. We've had to buy our way back in after falling behind on new innovations and ideas and research. The Tories had the attitude that we could just buy anything we wanted anyhow. We had a brain drain of talent and ideas due to the arrogance of "we don't need eu".

Probably, but if it gets people into work it cant be a bad thing. The day one rights against unfair dismissal are balanced by the right to sack within a statutory probation period.
I think the day one rights will make SME's very, very cautious about who they take on and may hinder growth in that sector.

Do you mean the unfair dismissal part? I don't think people should be "unfairly dismissed", however short a time they have been working at a company.

Reeves has been wondering about how to help these but not in the area you are commenting on. It probably relates to our EU start ups that intended to make use of the whole market and what happened to them.

Some of the worker rites aspect consider numbers employed.

Anyway folks did you read the negations time mentioned? I'll help you
Most of the planned changes will not take effect for two years following a period of consultation.

Do you realise that welfare complications might figure in some of it?

It will only encourage people to ring in sick from day one of employment.

The majority of people I’ve employed over the years have been brilliant. The handful of “glass backs” will take the pee now.
Those not up to the job or standard required can still be got rid of

Always been able to.

Poor management is the real issue.

That is probably because you don't understand.

Surely the working hours will be outlined in the advert / interview.

Can't see employers being happy if they recruit a "full time" worker and them then demanding flexible / part time working.
Ever heard of management ?
