Do you have anything to back up your claim that they are paying more than normal rates?
Yes, my tax breakdown.
It's a pie chart that taxpayers get to show them where money is wasted.
I know tax is an alien concept for you, but read about it, it's fascinating.
Besides, show me one public contract that worked out cheaper than private.
How much is a pen to buy for me and you?
How much is any public office paying for the same pen?

And so you agree that everything that was there when the 4 star was a business is still there.
Thanks for agreeing with me
as i said earlier lots and lots will be different
and apart from the decor and branding it will have little chance off resembling a place where families with children would relish being

The answer is £160ish per person per night.

£8.3M per day for 50.5K people housed.

About the going rate for a 4* hotel.

it all depends what the £160 covers does it specifically say accommodation costs only or is daily costs per person including all their needs including outside the hotels like say £10 [random amount and suggestion ]a day for food and toiletries

Too many people happy with headlines.

I'd love to any evidence of any (claimed) 4* hotel being fully booked by the government and charging more than their advertised rates.

Government procurement is not the best, but I don't expect any body to provide any evidence of them paying over the odds for bulk hotel rooms.

But it's a diversion away from why they are having to be housed like this. And that's definitely a Tory issue.

typical false argument.

The rate the hotels are paid does not indicate the facilities or standards.

The govt has to pay those rates because the hotel basically loses all its trade, most of its staff and can’t simply return to being a hotel ends, so the rates have to reflect that.

The hotel would need a refit when it returns to being a hotel….if it could ever rebuild its trade.

The asylum seekers do not get 4 star facilities

Four star accommodation says the right wing grifters……

“In December, a report by Corporate Watch exposed numerous issues with accommodation provided by Clearsprings, including “leaking plumbing, damp, broken fire alarms and electrical sockets, and infestations of cockroaches, rats and mice”.” :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:
