I may be wrong but presumably, some sort of checks regarding criminality, illnesses, employment and accommodation are carried out on legal immigrants? Basically, the same as I had to go through in the early eighties when I was offered a job in South Africa.

You would expect a similar process to occur with asylum seekers.
But the last government stopped doing that.
So if there were any criminals among the asylum seekers they were allowed the freedom to wonder around without supervision.

Better link than usual but I feel that I should point out that when ethnic aspects of a particular type crop up in crime something is usually done about it. Grooming for instance. Some forms related to whites. They may die out. I also wonder why some use of UK police statistics were not used.

The ghetto aspects are interesting. They tend to be income related. Poorer people more crime. B'ham have various levels of houses that relate to that and even at the dear end populations are mixed. Knife etc use features in ALL ETHNIC groups, us whites are one of those. We have gangs, criminal groups even a famous family. In practice there aren't many problems. Actual knife use in ethnic groups tends to be on their own people.

So, the good people of Britain came out and faced down the thugs. Those of a certain persuasion must hate that. Hopefully, that is the end of this for now. Farage's role in this has been a disgrace from the moment he blew his dog whistle over the killings of those little girls, to his barmy video the other night where he tried to compare the policing of graffiti and tyre slashing to the policing of extreme racist violence and arson.

Until these events, I'd actually always had a soft spot for Farage. But I can see now how deeply dangerous he is.

There can be threads of truth in what he says, however be under no illusion, him and his like are dangerous. I said before, should Reform ever get more of a grasp on power, folk should be careful what they wish for.
