I do genuinely mean it. You would only have to kill a small number to stop the rest coming, so it would be humane for them as well as for us. I want to keep my country and its people safe and secure, and sometimes you have to do unpleasant things to maintain that peace and security. Perhaps you might like to research how many British people have been killed, on our own soil, by illegal (and sometimes legal) immigrants. Try starting here:

Very disappointing to read such a disgusting comment. Regardless of the rights and wrongs of those coming across the channel, to assert killing some of them in cold blood as a solution is beyond the pale in my opinion.

if the EU had helped more with search and rescue operations you would be moaning they were causing the refugee crisis

you just interpret anything as anti EU -you are allowing your emotions to cloud whatever judgement you might have once had

Do I think the migrant situation has been handled extremely poorly by our and neighbouring governments? Yes.
Do I think something constructive needs to be done to resolve the situation? Yes.
Do I think 'shooting a few of them' to scare others off is a good way to go? No.

Well perhaps this Rwandan caper may go pear shaped

but at least it’s an effort to try and do some thing

all those who oppose doing some thing

And are happy with the current set up should all be taxed accordingly

you want to occupy the moral high ground best advised you all dip yer hands in yer pockets

Make it a seperate tax
call it a migrant tax

or may be we could have a referendum on the caper

are people prepared to pay an extra seperate tax
