Irrelevant, the figures are the evidence.Apart from the process and the outcry from consumer charities dealing with claims and the regulator stepping in to apply more control?

they don't back up your argument.Irrelevant, the figures are the evidence.

or you could do some research..
Millions left in the cold and dark as someone on a prepayment meter cut off every 10 seconds, reveals Citizens Advice
New analysis from the charity reveals the stark reality for people who pay for their energy through a prepayment meterwww.citizensadvice.org.uk
Smart meter:
- follow the process for debt recovery, switch to pre-pay, customer self terminates.
Dumb meter
- follow the process for debt recovery, obtain a court order for forced entry, magistrate checks you've followed the process (rejects if you haven't) order issued.
Better for people like me who don’t have a problem with paying. But it doesn’t change the fact that it’s much easier for the supplier to move a delinquent customer to pre pay. If they are on a smart meter. And so why, is the latter better, I don't follow the logic? The latter system, would involve a longer process, a much more costlier process for both the supplier, the police, the legal system, which the customer would end up paying, perhaps including the cost of a new door, and in the meantime the debt continues to increase.

Thus there are more dumb/gullible people in the UK than clued up smart peopleThere are more smart meters in the UK than dumb meters by quite a margin.
Don't need a smart meter for that.Do you agree that the technology exists to allow individual pricing - yes or no?
Who knows. Are you stating that individual pricing will never happen - yes or no?
It's probably always existed. OFGEN ensures that billing remains fair/competitive.Do you agree that the technology exists to allow individual pricing - yes or no?
And some would say there are more smart people than dumb conspiracy theorists. If so there are more dumb/gullible people in the UK than clued up smart people
