Smart meter software already being hacked at point of use Albanian gang in my town have somehow hacked the prepayment ones selling 40 quids worth of gas for 20 quid quite wide spread from all accounts .

That's not going to work as it is my username. People read my posts and are educated. Like yourself regards SM's or abortion etc.

I'm still waiting for you to discuss the article by that award winning, Cambridge educated economics journalist highlighting energy company agents, forcing their way into peoples homes and changing the ANALOGUE meters to pre pay. You remember, that link you put up wrongly thinking the compensation scheme was about remote SM switching and gleefully taking credit for it.

I'm ready when you are.

Incidentally OFGEM don't have the authority to ban SM switching (to pre-pay) nor do they call for an outright ban either. They actually believe it is warranted in some cases. Read more here.
