The mod's have him weighed up. He's been banned from the thread once already for abuse or trolling or for being a moron.
You seem to know a lot as why I was banned. Perhaps you can show me the post that you think were the cause. (without miss quoting or selective quoting a few words out of context )

Something I have noticed about this debate, we have 2 of the 3 stooges doing their usual routine together but where is the 3rd one - notch. He has not stepped a foot in here, my guess is because he agrees that SM are a bad idea but doesn't want to to be seen to be "batting for the wrong side"

Looks like it to me

Still waiting for you to point out those posts you accuse me of.

All I have said is...

You are no more likely to be switched to pre-pay or have your supply cut off with either meter. FACT.

All the rest of the waffle is irrelevant. I have also made a fool of biking from the boatyard, but no more than he has imposed upon himself.

Personally, a SM is just another meter to me. The hilarious thing is, I had it installed to make my life easier regards actually reading the (electric) meter, and it recently stopped sending the readings. So now I have to scuttle into the USC and read it manually.

It would not matter a jot to me whether I had either meter. I just don't like outright lying.

You made it a thing, when you flounced back into the thread, announcing "woohoo, looks like my ban has ended". I'm surprised you didn't include a fanfare or a drum roll.
I hadn't noticed you were banned from the thread, until you flounced back in, sorry.

Cool story bro

Irrelevant.
I think they were saying 35M installed and 3.5M were not working, due to the mess the government has allowed to happen - making them an option, with incentives to have one, leaving it to the energy companies to implement, and some, simply unable to communicate to base, the readings. Such a shame, such a potentially useful technology, was so badly implemented, when it could have been done so much more reliably....

Even when it's working and reporting properly, and at best - they only report the day's reading, once per day, at that days end, as a batch of data.

Octopus, independently designed a nifty little free optional gadget, called the Mini, which grabs the readings every few seconds, and relays them in real time, back to Octopus, using your wifi/internet. That could be an instant fix, for all those Smart Meters, which struggle to communicate - If only they were allowed to make use the data that way..

First line of the thread!

I’d say it’s very relevant.

Pay attention

a helluva lot less which is why the MAM meter asset manager went to the regulator and were given permission to not work on them due to the horrendous costs involved .
I knew an old mechanic who used to service my car years ago. He stopped doing it as cars got more complicated and expensive to repair.

Did that mean we banned new cars and just drove old ones? No, of course it didn't.
