Not peeved at all, good on the old fella for saying what he thinks. I was just surprised to hear it from somebody who is a national institution, working for the mother of all pc organisations the beeb.

I would have been more worried if he said that he liked Germans... I feel that it would have been a lie given what he had endured

I don't get it. Patrick Moore was on the TV a few months ago saying that he was in the Home Guard. And how can you be a navigator for 5 years when you only fly 30 missions?
