I suggest that Kendor sell his house and give it to the 6 million African children that will die this year. Think about it? A holocaust every year. Year in year out and yet Kendor lives in luxury and keeps what belongs to Kendor very safe.

No one is suggesting substituting one person in poverty for another which would be the case if we all handed over everything to the needy, that's not what i was suggesting, what i was proposing is that we don't need the earth's resources plundered just so we can have a nice water feature in the garden or that the earth is plundered just so we can read glossy magazines or the wastage of food produced that we ourselves cannot possibly hope to consume and therefore goes to fill landfill sites etc. , that sort of wastage and they are just examples before you start quoting directly the aforementioned, it's the extras that we take for granted that are essential to life to others and the manufacturing monster that our "civilised" society has created that has to be fed otherwise our whole economy will collapse attitude that needs to change and more compassion towards others needs to be shown.

Going by some of the posters on here it seems they havn't accepted or embraced the reality of present day in that the barriers of borders of countries are coming down and we are becoming a multi cultural world, this is what modern day travel, politics has achieved, it's best to accept that things will not change back and better to accept that being british (whatever that means?) covers a multitude of cultures and races. those that hang onto the premise that britain is for the british is well...living in the past.
The world is for sharing with your brothers and sisters not for keeping it to oneself!

I don't think we are superior, there are many in the third world given the chance that would do well for themselves, there are many intelligent and educated people from these regions that have managed to gain an education and hold some powerful jobs even in this country, so no i don't think we are superior more that we are extremely lucky to live where we do and to have the lifestyle we have that we shouldn't be ungrateful for what we have and keep wanting more as some on here suggest but to look at others less fortunate and consider them part of the family of humans that we are.
i'm actually not surprised that the earth has a wobble as all the goodies are dotted around in a few places instead of spread evenly over the world.
