Perhaps everybody should make a NY resolution, and stick to it, to never respond to anything that stupid racist posts.

First of all you have to define racist as it seems on here that a racist is anybody who doesnt agree with a certain few's beliefs.

Any distinction, exclusion, restriction or preference based on race, colour, descent, or national or ethnic origin which has the purpose or effect of nullifying or impairing the recognition, enjoyment or exercise, on an equal footing, of human rights and fundamental freedoms in the political, economic, social, cultural or any other field of public life.

Saying that what ever you think of Joe or Slogger, they do raise some good points that you ignore in your race to try and shout them down

Let's separate the two.

joe-90: He may well make some good points on some subjects - someone could be the most disgusting racist and be an expert on gardening or gas fitting or Galileo.

But in respect of his racist views, and the way that he unsuccessfully tries to spread racist propaganda under the guise of "reasoned debate" on topics such as immigration and asylum, no, I don't believe he does make any good points. Partly because he makes his bias too obvious, (he was the one, remember, who turned the topic of CORGI, gas regulations and DIY gas work into a platform for his messages of hate), and partly because he is actually incapable of "reasoned debate". Not only does he fail to answer questions, and then berate other people for doing exactly the same thing, he really does think that when it gets to the point where someone says "that's it, I'm not going to respond any more to posts like these", that if he carries on saying things that he's been told will be ignored that the other person's silence means that he is right and has "won".

It's exactly the same as if he was in a room having a face-to-face debate, and the other person were to leave the room, and he were to carry on talking, and then say "I see you have no answer to that, so obviously I have won and you have lost".

It really is so incredibly stupid.

And whilst I am not in favour of the use of the ad hominem fallacy, I do have to wonder if somebody who behaves so stupidly when posting on a subject that they care so much about does actually have the mental capacity to raise good points on any topic....



slogger: He is a murderous racist, but does at least have the decency to agree that he is, and for that honesty I respect him a lot more than I do joe-90, even though I disagree with him even more vehemently.

I can't say whether he has or has not ever raised good points on any subject, but I'd certainly not refuse to believe that he has, or could.

Did you know that the Race relations Board tried to stop the BBC from featuring black males in such great numbers on Crimewatch UK? The BBC pointed out that their program represented an accurate portrayal of crime and the people committing it. Instead of being a black apologist - wouldn't it make more sense to suggest that the black commununity sorts out its problems with criminal youth?

I was in my local Tescos today an I have noticed that a lot of the staff are Polish , how do I know I asked the checkout girl , she was telling me in her sexy broken English "that they are many of us here ,good employers to the local migrants tescos are so!" (yoda must be teaching at the local language school.. lol)
what struck me about these new members of staff are how they all look like them High St Honeys FHM/or Miss Worlds , very pretty an polite , not like the old manc boilers they had there before..lol
My father who pushed the trolley around was like "old Steptoe!"....the dirty old man ....leering at them ..lol

an we never scream an shout about all the English ex pats in Spain /abroad ...so Im all for these cute babes coming here ..lol

My belief's for the first time

I believe that beyond the hype that immigration is only good for any country when those who are the immigrants are------

Needed

Have the relevent skills etc etc

Are going to adapt and be part of the country etc etc etc

Are put on a probationary time basis before accepted as full citizens.

All of these points are applied by the countries Brit's emigrate too, so why is Britain different???

I believe that asylem seekers should be confined untill their case is proven and any failed immigrants of any kind should be forcably removed if nessacary.

After living in another country for 10 years this xmas, i believe that the British people are far superior to other races i have been in long contact with as regards morals and getting things done correctly etc and enterprise, and i am qualified to say this as living in country has to be done for years not 6 months. ( of course there is poo in every race )

i dont know wether you meant it or not but this sounds like you think the british are far superior to the irish? i know you say youve met plenty of nationalities as you said in the last post so why did you leave england? and when are you planning to return? have you lived in the same place for 10 years? if yes your in no position to comment on ireland if youve not stepped out of the orange zone and if you havent youve never visited ireland, never mind have an opinion on the superiority of the british. Your lucky theres a demand for mdf fire surrounds round your way or maybe you might of failed the skilled test? Have you adapted to living in the orange side? i would say you fit in just right.Where you put on probation before you were accepted? Maybe thay should of confined you until they could prove you knew about mdf and a router a couple of nails and more importantly PVA, they might of asked you for more than 2 uses appart from school glue and wood, that would of got you launched.
