In an attempt to put a philosophical spin on this post. There seems to be a feeling (at least among the Kendors of this world) that ALL human life, no matter how deviant and violent, is precious. WHY?

I am an aetheist, so telling me it's the word of God doesn't do it for me.

So as a challenge for the Kendor camp. Give me one LOGICAL reason why the life of someone who beats up inocent old ladies is more valuable than a family pet.

If you understand the basic principles of Darwin, you'll realise that we don't need this type of scum in the gene pool. The human race, as a whole, is not an endangered species.

No hiding behind what the Law says, or arguments of escalation and vigilanti issues. Just the basic principle. So to clarify the question try to finish this sentance for me:

A junkie that stabs old folk to steal thier belongings, is more valuable than a family pet because _ _ _ ......
