the point is they start out as normal people with a few issues mostly minor that can be picked up and the volume turned down with normal social interaction from people around them from school to work with further help from professionals
but what we have in many cases no one has the time or too overworked to notice and help is so far away or simply not there so the internet takes over doubles the volume every week until the obvious happens or an intervention stops it

Yes I know murders take place outside london but we were discussing the reporting of such crime, and the vast majority of such crime that makes the national news is London (its a BBC thing)
