Racist ? Let's start the ball rolling ...

Why is that bro?
We all speak to people and address them in a manner that reflects familiarity as opposed to how we would speak to a stranger.
Trying to rewrite that rule to suit your black vs white agenda is just silly.

Racism is not the cause, crime is the cause.
White police brutality against black people is caused by racism. Structural inequality is caused by racism.
Even all those fatherless black kids in this country is caused by err go on racism.... which in turn causes all sorts of issues in their lives. They need support.

Honestly why do people feed off this troll he/she has lost the plot. I think youll find everyone here talking you all share the same view of fighting racism together.

Anyway no more with you.. as you assume classical music awards is white :) how racist.

Ah right. It’s ok to kill someone of the same race but not of a different one.
Not sure he said that.. but

Going by how the media handles it it seems so.
If a white kid gets stabbed then it's on the front page, makes the national news etc, Jimmy Mizen, Jodie Chesney for example. If a black kid gets stabbed then it's just another 'lawless Britain' kind of snippet.

The origin of classical music is European. The last time I looked the indigenous inhabits of Europe were white.
But the Classical, Folk, Scottish music awards is for the genre, not the artists.
As are the MOBO award, for the genre, not the artists.
You demonstrate your inability to comprehend that with your continued false arguments.

Tell us more. ...

Are Gal and JohnD one and the same or some kind of 'chums'? Another of Gal's ranty threads gone - locked in the small hours of the night after a post by JohnD. Does JohnD have Gal's back? Why?

It's the same word, used in the same context. It's double standards, just like the whole BLM ting.

Disagree completely....

The origins of that word are derived from latin for the colour black.

The context in and way in which it has been used by light skinned people to degrade and discriminate against dark skinned people over hundreds of years is completely different to the way in which some black people have used the modified pronunciation of the word as a casual remark in more recent times.

That said, i do feel that one of the reasons this word is even 'alive' in this day and age and also the reason that some non black people
incorrectly think its okay to use the term is because of its casual use in rap/hip hop culture/film permeating to more main stream outlets without any real history or explanation on what it might mean depending on who uses the term and who the recipient(s) are.

Might not be your kind of music but listen to the lyrics of this tune......kinda of sums it up for me

The thing is, while I'm out and about I can't dare call by black friend "My N****" even if its a term of endearment or if he likes being referred to in that way by me.

Did you ever ask him? what did he reply?

You're talking nonsense.
A slave owner does not need to hate the slave, to practise and believe in racism.
You are conflating an emotion directed towards an individual, or individuals.
One can hate their neighbour without being a racist. One can hate their work colleague without being racist.

Structural inequality is an example of racism, but hate need not enter into the equation.

With your understanding of racism, I'm not surprised you've never encountered racism. You don't know what to look out for.

Sorry wrong Lefty

Sorry wrong Lefty
I see you changed your post after I highlighted it and didn't answer the question.
So I will ask another..
Why does being against racism mean someone is a lefty?

Slave owner???
Have you time travelled from the past???
It's been centuries since slavery has been stopped and criminalised.
Read my post again.
I didn't say that hate is automatically racism.
I said that racism is hate against a different race for the sole reason of being from a different race.
I'm using elementary terms here just to make you understand.
BTW, today is 11th day of the month of June of the year 2020 AD.

I make no apologies for not looking for racism in everything and everyone.
I'm way too busy interacting with human beings to scrutinise what strangers say and point fingers whilst shouting "racist!".
