Rape gangs. Why does the Home Office minister not want a national public enquiry?

I'm wondering if data and analysis is being confused tbh. 'Grooming Gang' does not necessarily mean just child sexual exploitation. It can mean organised criminal networks of a different nature aswell.

I'm wondering but don't know, if it is predominantly white grooming gangs who are higher on the organised crime networks ie. drug dealing etc because the media coverage of actual white grooming gangs convicted of child sexual exploitation is quite low.

Do these white rape gangs target a specific and different ethnicity to their own? I'm sure there must be some examples but I can’t recall seeing any Asian girls being targeted by Asian gangs, ever, which makes me think that it’s a cultural/racial thing.

I may be on my own here but if I read about a white rape gang that targeted only Asian girls, I would think it’s more than just a sexual thing, it would be a race hatred thing.

Maybe that’s why Asian rape gangs get more coverage than other gangs?
If you bother to read any of info out there, you'd understand their reasoning, when selecting victims. I mentioned it early on in the thread...
The Pakistani grooming gangs were quite devious in their selection of girls to groom. They were usually white, from disadvantaged backgrounds, usually known to the law and were receptive to drugs and alcohol. They realised there was no point targeting their own (well protected) Pakistani descent girls or girls from more 'secure' families.
It wasn't exclusively Asian offenders regards the above, either. But true to say, that was their thing.
However the raping of babies is exclusively a white British gang thing.

I read somewhere that its the definition of grooming gang and the numbers of people involved that gave rise to the the figure that most grooming gangs are of paksistani/ muslim origin. Maybe it was gangs over 5 people or something so it could be that more white gangs in total but each gang under 5 people whereas the muslim gangs are fewer in number but contain 13 -30 people in the fewer gangs

Offenders are listed and counted individually, regardless of the size of the gang.

Even Labour MP's are calling for a national enquiry. Someone doesn’t want one. I wonder why?

Mottie never cared about the Conservatives not acting on the last enquiry.

Mottie needs to take note of Sarah Champions comments about politicisation:

Champion has, however, criticised what she said was the politicisation of the issue by Reform MPs.

During a debate last week over a Conservative call for an inquiry, Champion angrily condemned Reform’s Rupert Lowe, who talked of “foreign rapists” and called for them and family members to be deported. Speaking after Lowe, Champion said she was “disgusted” by his tone

I don't think Mottie has ever read any of the reports, and seems to ignore the last enquiry altogether. There's little interest other than his ears prick up, when he has an opportunity to bash Muslims.

Do you think Sarah Champion has read them? If so, why do you think she is asking for another national enquiry?

Some want another one and some don't, while the PM ultimately decides. That's the way it goes.
