Remind me what bending the knee is all about?

I wonder if the number of black murders and incidents would drop if those black people who choose a certain way of life chose a different way of life.

Note I'm not referring to ALL black people before you jump down my throat.

Stop trying to be gansta.
Stop hanging around in gangs.
Stop having kids then leaving the mum high and dry.
Stick in at school, do your best to get a good education.
Present the best version of yourself to the world and prospective employers.
Be positive instead of always blaming others for the negative stuff in your life. Much of this IS within our control.

Do black and brown people still face racism and other challenges? Yes. I have a brown face so I'm not oblivious to this. However you can't say there aren't things some of the black community could be doing to improve their situation.

And yes yes, white people are guilty of much of the above as well, however the thread is about taking the knee.
Some of that would help, but it wouldn't stop the 'ism and the abuse.

Lewis Hamilton. Him and his father - awesome. But the dummies focus on him and jeer because he's black.

I don't disagree, still a long way to go in some ways and tbh I'm not convinced we'll ever get there, certainly not on a global scale.

Should have put this in your other thread…..
Oooh, Chinky! Wouldn’t get away with that these days!

Coffee coloured people would more than likely not make the grade unfortunately.. its only Black Lives that Matter.
( Did you see what I did then?)

bodd thinks (murdered) George Floyd was rich.
On July 15, 2017, Justine Damond (née Ruszczyk), a 40-year-old Australian-American woman, was fatally shot by 33-year-old Somali-American Minneapolis Police Department officer Mohamed Noor after she had called 9-1-1 to report the possible assault of a woman in an alley behind her house.

I don't think George was rich.....however I do know that he held a gun to a Pregnant woman's belly while robbing her in her own home!!!@

Yes, black on black violence is a big problem. It is largely a social-economic problem that is fuelled by inequality. In inequality is caused by racism.
Many people do climb the social ladder, but it takes generations and a bit of luck too. Many do not.

And this is where sport become relevant again - sport was often something poorly educated working classes could dream of accomplishing, and many would do very well in school, but many of those would fail to get anywhere professionally, even if they were the best in the team. But bending the knee is not just about that final attempt, it is about the inequality that keeps people down in the first place.

That's good logic. "I'll go and murder another black Lad because I've been racially abused."

Did you not know how to spell correct?
No I’m on my IPad in Barmouth and the internet is woeful to non-existent. The IPad also randomly autocorrects so expect some weird spelling or nonsense words in my posts. Thanks for asking.(y)

Can you explain why our England team are going to Qatar?
