The scale of it is alarming At least 40 potential victims, with lord knows how many witnesses and others involved in either condoning in full knowledge or wilfully ignoring verbal (and indeed possibly written!!!) complaints and reports. How the heck did he avoid being properly brought to account and prosecuted?

The number 40 came from some headline today of how many women were being interviewed by the police. Like you said, it is likely to be much much higher, and that may well only be those who were compis mentis when he stuck his tongue down their throats or had a quick grope (I'm thinking hospital patients ).
