I doubt if that includes where kids play, because then you will not have

"a reasonable expectation of privacy".

But if you are in the middle of a secluded field in the middle of nowhere, then maybe.

I played in fields when I was a kid.

Are you saying that it is ok to have sex in a field with kids watching and so long as they don't complain it's OK?

No. FFS, Joe listen.

You're ****ing about with words again:

THE KEY WORD IN THE LAW IS REASONABLE. Now I know it is open to much interpretation, but that is the law. Why are you arguing with me?

You asked me to provide you with some back up for what I was saying. I have. I cannot justify the law. Why don't you ask a lawyer?

This thread is about adults having sex in front of their kids.

In the eyes of the law that is child abuse and the kids will be taken into care.

It's got nothing to do with having a bonk in the Chilterns when no-one is looking. Why are you trying to cloud the issue?

Takes two to tango, Joe

Anyway, who's clouding the issue?

Are you getting lost because I've gone off-topic?

You didn't say you were going off topic - you just started having a go at me over a completely seperate issue that bears no relationship with the thread.

Ah, bless. You feeling sensitive tonight?

How the F am I having a go at you?

That's a bit rich coming from you, mate!!

You wanted me to back up what I was saying about the law and sex in public, and I did. How have you twisted that into me having a go at you? Have you had too much alcohol tonight?

What's this then?

I am not having a go at you.

Simply emphasising that you are twisting words around to suit you, that's all.

If you are offended by this, then maybe you shouldn't go round doing worse to others.

Goodnight.

Maybe you would like to give an example of my 'doing worse to others'?

When, if ever, or up to what age, is it OK to have sex in front of your own children? Should they be taught that it is something deeply spiritual and emotional and part of a loving relationship between adults, or should it be locked behind a bedroom door? What if they see you at some point? Should you shriek and be embarrassed, or not make a fuss but stop all the huffing and puffing?

To get back on topic I can see what notb665 is getting at.

If your kids are in the room, how old do they need to be before you stop changing the channel when a bit of sex comes on?

Mine are all above 13 and although Mrs P goes red, we don't change channels if it's in context.

might be better not to make a fuss about it.

all sounds a bit garry glitter to me what a dodgy old question to ask

are some of you that liberal that your going to give sex education to your kids with a show ?

THE MODERN PARENTS as seen in viz comic

Malcolm and Cressida also believe that all humans are equal even to the extent that there is no such thing as immaturity. As a result, Tarquin is often greeted by the sight of his parents openly having sexual intercourse (having also previously announced this intention to their kids) and has to shield Guinevere from such activity. Each story of the Modern Parents finds the parents forcing the kids into participation in some new wide-eyed, hare-brained post-modern activity which ostensibly encourages a policy of togetherness but ironically ends up with Tarquin and Guinevere often escaping to their much more realist uncle Eddie who supplies them with the ice creams and trips to theme parks which their parents refuse to allow. While the children are enjoying themselves with uncle Eddie, their parents are likely to be suffering or arguing due to their latest idea/scheme going horribly wrong.

Just a small point about foul language etc on tv.
How many would reinvite a stranger into their home if he/she used the sort of language we hear on the box today?
Cheap thrills, easy money for some.
:(

My thought exactly empip. And what about 'sex' on TV, is that allowed? (Meaning children are watching that, not? Call the social service?)
