Someone is trying to start a war in the Ukraine, It's NOT Russia (edit: yes it is)

Conscription in Russia (Russian: всеобщая воинская обязанность, romanized: vseobshchaya voinskaya obyazannost, translated as "universal military obligation" or "liability for military service") is a 12-month draft, which is mandatory for all male citizens ages 18–27, with a number of exceptions. The mandatory term of service was reduced from two years to one year in 2007 and 2008.[1][2] Avoiding the draft is a felony under Russian criminal code and is punishable by up to 2 years of imprisonment.[3]

It's easy to distort that into something else.

Not heard from any conspiracy theorists on this. China released a deadly virus, now Russia may have something even worse for us. Are they working together? Is it part of the Great Reset?

Reports on the news that thermobaric bombs have been used ?

concerns that the Russians may deploy chemical weapons ??

would the use of chemical weapons result in a line being crossed and nato responds militarily ???

Hard to say, but i'd guess not. NATO will go to great lengths to avoid a military conflict, as i suspect Putin has gambled on the fact Biden cannot afford to become embroiled in a European war as the midterm elections approach. Without American leadership it's very doubtful the UK and European countries will take action either.
I wish Zelensky would stop banging on about Genocide. It's nothing of the kind and his constant carping on Twitter simply puts pressure on NATO to take action it can ill-afford. Supplying Ukrainian forces with arms is the best they can expect.

There's an unfortunate truth to this.

In the same way we can't risk this spilling into a European war, the risks of that are astronomical, we need to understand that this is nothing more than a test of our resolve in the West. I truly believe that if the West acts weak here then we will see China invade Taiwan soon and Hong Kong come under heavy subjugation while Putin eyes up additional former Soviet countries for his taking.

They smell weakness, I only hope they've shot their load too soon.

bombing schools and hospitals could be considered a genocide plan.

No. It couldn't.
These terms are too easily thrown around in order to provoke an emotional response to their ordeal. Don't get me wrong, i have sympathy for their plight but there's not much more the West can do, right now.

IMO, Putin is scared of NATO.

In a conventional war, I'm sure he is well aware that, working together, the 30 countries (well, 29 as Iceland doesn't have an army) could easily annihilate Russia, probably in less than a week. As a combined force, NATO are vastly superior to Russia in every way.

That's probably why he's using the 'nuclear' threat to keep them at bay.

There wouldn't be a conventional war with NATO in my opinion, not one that lasts very long anyway... it would take until one of the major sides risked invasion by the other before the missiles started flying.

In fact, if the UK were ever at the risk of invasion and coming under the yoke of the Russians, Chinese or any other people likely to murder, rape and maim our people... then I'd hope we have the fortitude to let the world burn before that happens.

He has the worlds stage. His aim is for citizens to put pressure on their govs and also make Russia look as bad as possible. I have heard that there is a lot of public support in Canada for a no fly zone. It will probably crop up in many demo's every where. The Migs too - what on earth good would they do in real terms if they could use them. Battle of Britain style war in the skies - Russia has way way more. That sort of warfare is run by taking the losses and out producing the enemy.

Zelensky is pretty adept at it. Rory admires his technique, He was elected via social media and criticised for avoiding the press and no clear goals. Lots of posts with media no longer than 2mins. He also played Prime Minister in a film, was well known on TV etc and popular on it.

Latest from their poli's - there blood isn't red enough for the west to get directly involved. They have to die. They are defending the whole of europe etc. C4 dug one out chosen I suspect because she was ranting and raving. Basic message Putin only understands strength. He will push the buttons. Come and get involved.

C4 touched on this
https://www.atlanticcouncil.org/blo...law-president-zelenskyys-populist-power-grab/

They mentioned that the original bill was backed off and some poli's disappeared. Guess what type of person owned the TV channel he appeared on. What's it all mean - no one knows. Being fair where the money is is always a problem for poli's. ;) They don't want our left in and do want our right in for instance.

As an aside - can you imagine Boris dropping the suite and putting a T shirt on as Zelensky has also ours wearing the same garb his negotiators do.

i think the world is waiting to see what side China falls on, fighting both china and russia will be very difficult. there is also the fear of nuclear war fare which no body wants.

your picture is overly simplified created for sensationalism.

Escalation is a certainty IMO

unless Russia pull back or the ukranians surrender

The best outcome is Ukraine can keep defending themselves until Russian attrition makes them look for a face saving deal. How much of Ukraine will be left by then is my worry. Russia should not be allowed to gain from the aggression.
