BORIS Johnson is being urgently flown to Kiev after President Putin confirmed that he is the only Western leader he considers trustworthy.

The Russian leader has demanded that he sit down with an honest straight-talker with an outstanding track record of tricky geopolitical negotiations, and insists that only Britain’s prime minister fits the bill.

He said: “Macron? A joke. This German? He is no Merkel. Biden? The call only lasted an hour because he kept falling asleep.

“Boris? A true leader. A man unafraid of his own ignorance. A man prepared to put in all the bluster necessary to ensure war. No-one else would ask ‘what has Belarus got to do with anything?’ with a straight face.

“Fly him out here and put him at the end of my long table. Let him give away your military secrets by accident. Let him make the diplomatic blunder that will serve as our casus belli, then fly home victorious only to discover we invaded before he landed.#

“Only Boris truly represents what Russia believes of the West: stumbling, bumbling spoiler children convinced they are too special for anything bad to happen to them.

“Also I have some stuff for all my oligarch crew in London I need him to drop off, so it is two birds with one stone.”

Rather crazy comment in one though suggesting it may take Russia 5 days to rearm. It does indicate that Russia used long range fire to prevent Donbas from being over run / end civilian casualties and achieve a cease fire, Shelling was indiscriminate.

What will happen will and it will also happen when it does. Looks to me like the USA can't loose prestige what ever does happen irrespective of what happens.

The media have been very quiet about the civilian causalities caused by the Ukranian army shelling residential areas.
Although civilian deaths are the inevitable consequence of a conventional army engaging in counter insurgency operations, it has to be said that the lack of media interest in humanitarian situation facing the civilian population of Eastern Ukraine is in stark contrast to media hysteria when Russia was bombing civilians in Syria.

The definition of "imminent" changed several weeks ago to, '50/50 chance of it happening in the next ten years.'

Trust me, at worst it will be a walk over in Dombas and the sooner it happen the better for all of us ie cheaper gas

Russian troops moved to gunnery positions from camps. However, he is not sure if there will be fighting
as they've had this move before. Importantly, he had not noted more than a few shells per big gun.
He feels this move is to scare the USA/Ukraine and hopefully no fighting.

At worst Dombas and the sooner the better as over 80% of the people there are in fav of Russia.

Soon as this is over, cheaper gas, calm etc and we can carry on with battling Covid, higher fuel prices and low forward to our hols.

The Americans claimed to have "hacked, listened in to...messages" did the f-ing F.

Russias gas exports to EU is 5% of their gdp and 72% of their total gas exports.

it’s really not in Russia’s interest to play silly buggers.

Goodness knows why EU has allowed itself to get so much energy from a country run by a gangster.
