Ofcom have fined RT in the past for unfair comments they made about the Salisbury poisonings.
As far as i know Ofcom has the power to take any broadcaster off the air who violates Ofcom's code of ethics.
The only exception was the BBC which couldn't be banned as it is a state broadcaster.
I don't know if the BBCs immunity from Ofcom legal action is till the case though.
Another factor is that the Russians have said that if RT is banned in the UK, they will retaliate by banning the BBC and their Journalists from Broadcasting in Russia.

I don't think Putin needs advice on where to strike. They have that covered already, just got to give the command.

You could argue that everything the tabloids print is unnecessary fearmongering. Only they other day we were expecting all our houses to be destroyed by a storm, or an asteroid, or aliens.

Turkey is NATO and I hope they keep out of it. I've said on this thread about NATO and the memberish. The greater the number of NATO member the greater
the risk of a nuclear war. Turkey is a maverick country and I fear what the hard man will do.

We all know Boris and the west were pandering to Putin and now we will pay the price via even higher prices and unnecessary death and destruction. Putins made his move becuse of the very, very lame efforts by the uk/usa/france/germany.

What do people here want Boris and cronies to do next??

I don't want boots on the ground and I want Putin's wealth along with all of his cronies, the ministers that supported him, seize their wealth and ban them from western places. I hope this will get the opposition in Russia to act but I fear they may already be heading to jail or worse.
