Standard practice really, we'd probably do the same here if a land invasion started.
Correct. Reports from bordering countries where people are fleeing to say mostly women and children entering.

Seems it was Russia all along! They amassed an army on the border, said they were not going to invade.
Now they are saying they won't occupy Ukraine.
Even though their tanks are literally running over civilians.

The difference between being brave and foolish at times is a very fine line. These men showed guts in the face of big guns and did not expect help to arrive within time.
Then all of them paid the biggest price ie their lives. They must all be young ie below 40 I guess and most if not all may have had a maily.
What a waste of lives in a one-sided battle.

does russia intend to to sieze and occupy the whole country ?
does it actually have the military man power to do so ?

To occupy a land where the majority left behind despise you will make it very hard.
As predicted by me early on, the Donbas area that was not taken by separatists will be taken and kept aprt of Russia and the other bits become neutral with a puppet leader. Most people will want to get on with their lives and keep their heads down.
Not sure the figures of over 1k Russians killed but both sides have lost and will lose more people all thanks to pussy snake and the week west.

Prepare for a possible false flaged attack on a NATO good carrier. There are stroies in the media now about a non NATO carrier being shlled. It may have been a russian navy ship that fired but what were the reasons you need to ask - did the ship refuse to obey orders???
