Someone is trying to start a war in the Ukraine, It's NOT Russia (edit: yes it is)

The Ukrainian boarder guards are turning men back at the boarder with Poland. Evan a Brit. There for 3hrs. Then gave up. Told his passport doesn't have any power. Brit diplo no help but tried. Reckons 50 people and 2 cars got through while he was trying.

The Ukrainian president may be up to tricks. Tweeted suggesting Turkey would block Russian access through the straight to the black sea. Quickly retracted by the beeb as no official announcements.

Just saw a modified molotov cocktail factory on TV. Lots of people in a field making and boxing them. There aim is similar to napalm.

Defence has been dropped in favour of welfare. After WW2 we spent 7 times more on defence than we did on welfare. At some point in the recent past the point was reached where we spent 7 times more on welfare than we did on defence. Has all the welfare spending been a good investment?

what they may sanction is giving permission to other states to supply weapons that they sold to them

to pass them on to Ukraine

any permissions given will probably be on a nod and a wink basis so that they can distance themselves and deny it ;);)

What I heard was talking about doing it from some German person. Much as mentioned inc helmets. Not sky. An interview on the beeb.

I mentioned a phone video of street fighting. Hope to see it again but thought that doesn't look very exciting. Then saw molotofs being made and though mmm a couple of those far apart might explain what it showed. Pass at the moment.

Wether or not Germany have admitted about the Javelins and Stingers, youll bet not only are they feeding the Ukranians with anti tank/air tech theyll be giving them live Satellite updates access to Military satellite comms and much more. I don't think the Russians have realised what they are up against.
This isn't slightly over yet, the Russian army with questionable morale against Ukranians fighting for their lives and future. My main concern is what Putin will do if he starts to lose here. Only takes a fresh wave of Javelin strikes to sever the logistic feeds to the front lines, things can change fast.
