Is ir really? Unlike France and was it Australia I have never seen video of Police with riot gear and tear gas.
One "odd" thing the press have noticed is that Russia has made not attempt at all to keep them out or suppress communications - so far anyway.
Propaganda. What can be done with blue screen disturbs me. I don't blame Andy's lot from wanting to examine a certain picture either.

Finland was part of the Russian Empire and some say Putin has dreams of being some sort of Peter the Great. He will see Finland as being a natural part of Russia
I have no idea where we are going or how we should deal with Putin. Let him get away with Ukraine and he will feel emboldened and continue to try and establish a new russian empire. If we try and stop him of if he begins to fail, he will resort to all out war including nukes. he will never back down, it is not in his characheter

I don't think I do actually. You post dubious info with no way of knowing it's factual. There are various theories about what will happen in the end and no one will know which one is correct until it happens. It might even be one that no one has thought of.
The Kiev thing is interesting. Fact is europeans would have problems saying it as both Russians and Ukrainian do. It's why people who have learnt to speak a certain language from birth generally have specific accents when they speak another unless they go to one hell of a lot of trouble to learn it.
I wondered that so looked it up. Apparently Kyiv is the Ukraine version and it the official Ukraine name for the capital.
Does anyone trust Turks?

they run a couple of cafes down this way I go into
another bloke just down the road from here runs a burger van
Always good service and decent grub IMO
I recall them riots up in London
Looting and arson ect
the Turk owned bussiness’s organised them selves to protect there shops
base ball bats and balaclavas
Was wondering the same thing myself. To me it will be Kiev until everyone starts pronouncing Cologne as Koln, Prague as Praha, Florence as Firenze, Munich as Munchen, etc, etc.

OK, so they can be relied on to sell us a cuppa or a kebab, maybe a rug.
Not sure about anything more important, like being our allies in world peace and security.
