Someone is trying to start a war in the Ukraine, It's NOT Russia (edit: yes it is)

A source reports that on the whole Russian airforce generals have refused to attack even protect in Ukraine. This story in unverified
However, there has been little or no evidence of the Russian airforce since Saturday other than the odd helicopter.

There is something very odd about this 40 mile convoy heading towards Kiev - keeps breaking down, running out of supplies, fuel ? I don't see an enthusiastic russian army cocking it all up in this manner. Have the soldiers just lost heart about killing their neighbours and friends? hope so.

Also strange is how little the Russian air force has been used, and even stranger, how the Ukraine air force has not been wiped out which shouldn't have been too difficult a task.
I think Putin has underestimated the resistance in Ukraine and also the global reaction, perhaps he's worried and confused and simply doesn't know what to do next, that in itself is worrying as he becomes even more more unpredictable and even more unstable.
Scary times.
 
It turned out from a factual report from a Ukrainian politician that happens to be there is that Russia is 20km from S Kiev. That doesn't fit in with the maps that are being shown.

The now 40m long convoy may not even exist.

I see Imran Khan has just signed a massive trade deal with Russia to import Natural Gas and 2 million tons of wheat. It's an ill wind that blows nobody any good.

Not sure if it's my take but RT and TASS appear to showing signs of posting the wests side of the story.

Re NATO and no fly zone. ATM our clown is saying no rightly so but what if another nato country one of the many joins in and then putin attacks that country - hence my thread re leaving NATO

he will take the country apart

Putin does not have enough troops there to control occupy the country

dunno how many troops they sent into czechoslovakia ( way back )

but it was double the amount of personnel he has in Ukraine and

Its not a tank convoy, its a queue of supplies. So fuel, food etc. Such operations take huge amounts of stuff just to stay put, let alone advance forward. (I dare say they are also replacing tanks as they get blown up in spectacular fashion).

That, coupled with the terrible planning / organisation has resulted in the debacle you see. But then it is his plan B, so he may not have thought he needed to plan properly for it.

I remember watching the US invade Iraq, and while there was fighting, resulting in some chaos, at least the lines of vehicles stayed apart from each other, and the death toll was fairly low for the Americans. Compare that with the Russians in this instance.

Again, I'm no military expert.

putin considers Ukraine a part of Russia , the home of the russian Orthodox church ?

imo it was probably not his intent to bomb the s*** out of the place . but than again I suspect he did not expect the level of resistance he has come up against ???

so plans change
