The EU can do whatever deal it chooses to negotiate. Do you understand the word 'negotiate'?

The EU has negotiated deals with other countries, where tgere has been an element of cherry picking.

So for the EU to say you cant cherry pick, is simply lying.

Any country that has agreed deals with the EU either have aligned/agreed with some of their rules and got a deal to reflect those alignments.
