You do know that the word deplorable is a very strong word to use - meaning unforgivable, shameful, disgraceful. Is that polite? It was OTT, and so it seems is your view on those who dare use a word not 100% correctly.

I don't see why my views are irresponsible either. I am not responsible for changes of words and how folk use them nor am I required to change the way other people want to use them. If someone wants to use the word paedophile here when talking about someone who goes grooms & sexually abuses an under 16 year old (age of consent) instead of 13 then it's fine by me. I am not a grammar, or a word nazi, especially on forums that are supposed to be fun and relaxed.
