it is up to you to check the ticket, and as for posturing about people laying their hands me needing medical insurance. the courts are full of people like you.

Get a life.
Tickets get issued incorrectly, not always can you double check them.
Anyone who trys to manhandle me will need medical attention.

Try collecting auto dispensed tickets at the last minute and having to get to a train.
An example.

But off course to you everything is black and white and your perfect.

Make a sensible argument or go stop people urinating in your garden

@Alarm - it's an odd stance you have here. On the one hand berating someone for using their physical superiority to get their own way and yet (repeatedly) stating that it would be alright for you do do the same, in particular implying that you would deem it appropriate for you to use far from reasonable force.

Where is it confusing?

Each time I mention it as a reactionary defense.
After being MANHANDLED not instigating it or being goaded to attack another passenger.

Got it now?
After being attacked.

if it is an auto dispensed ticket and it is wrong you are the one who pressed the wrong button it is still your fault. or are you going to blame the machine.

You're attacking my sensibilities with your rude and uncouth statements. Does that mean I can defend myself and beat you to a pulp

Not even going there with you as you obviously do not use national rail pre booking services.
Nor the auto dispensing machines for prebooked.

Not a ticket selection machine as you incorrectly assumed.

Go away your not worth the effort.

I was issued with an incorrect ticket once (partly because I pressed the wrong button  ). So I bought the correct ticket, and sent the wrong one back to the tram company who refunded me (well, gave me a credit note, which is the same thing as I used it a couple of days later).

Can't see why the young lad didn't do the same, especially since he had money in his bag. Indeed, he instead decided that it would be better to hurl abusive language in a crowded carriage, and delay everyone's trip home.

Student? Intelligent? My ar$e

I use the prebooked service and the auto dispenser never had a problem with them, it is still up to you to check your ticket

Make a decent one and I might reply

But got to watch the time as the xmas cake i`ve been baking is about due to come out of the oven after 3 ½ hours.

what a load of cr*p..

I've had wrong dates printed on tickets before now, and our local ticket inspectors are well aware of various problems...

auto ticket machines run on windows xp - enough said!
