Current polling suggests Biden has an uphill battle if Trump remains the sole contender for the Republican nomination. Even more depressing is the position taken by his supporters that even if he's indicted and imprisoned they'd still vote for him. How the f. has it come to this?
Larry Elder was on The Context last night and his opinion carries some weight, as he's correctly predicted every president since 1980. Says the whole election will depend on how well the economy fares next year and the all-important level of inflation will decide swing voters in purple states. It'll be close.
Have a feeling the same dynamic applies to the UK.

Democrats have a real problem, Biden is selfish and won’t step down + the democrats don’t have a real alternative who will cut through.

Trump is easily beatable, his greatest chance of winning is the public not wanting Biden. Just like Johnsons biggest ally was Corbyn

So in summary, Biden making a complete horlicksof pulling out of Afghanistan was Trump's fault.

Yes. Trump actually wanted to pull troops out of Kabul in May, so he could take the credit. He was warned of the dangers by military advisors and would probably have gone ahead anyway if he'd thought it'd make a difference to his chances of re-election. As always with American voters, "it's the economy, stupid." So off he went (with a trumpity-Trump) to do other stuff.

Guess we'll never know if that's anything more than conjecture given he wasn't in office.

“The signing of the Doha agreement had a really pernicious effect on the government of Afghanistan and on its military – psychological more than anything else, but we set a date – certain for when we were going to leave and when they could expect all assistance to end,” McKenzie said.

He was referring to a February 29, 2020, agreement that the Trump administration signed with the Taliban in Doha, Qatar, in which the US promised to fully withdraw its troops by May 2021 and the Taliban committed to several conditions, including stopping attacks on US and coalition forces.

The stated objective was to promote a peace negotiation between the Taliban and the Afghan government, but that diplomatic effort had failed to gain traction before former US President Donald Trump was replaced by President Joe Biden in January.

Al Jazz knows all

Good of Biden to play his joker on this one, official date of leaving Sept 11 let's leave earlier in the dead of night.

Well, it's hardly sound military sense to let the enemy know your troop movements, is it?
The Afghan army couldn't be trusted with the date for the Xmas party.

And my reply stated you’ve a track record for trying to put words in posters mouths. You’re hardly trustworthy are you Notchy!
I’m not putting words in peoples mouths

Im pointing out the truth to people to cowardly to be honest…you being a classic example

For example: you claimed I am easily led by the Mainstream media….yet you are unable to provide a single example

the reality is that you believe the conspiracist nonsense on climate, covid and Brexit…because you are easily led
