TV Licence

Maybe you can explain the difference between being asked to fill out a form and being forced to do so then?
Er,
Last couple of TV's I've bought (both from ASDA), I was asked to fill in a form at the checkout to declare that I had a valid licence. 'Tis true.
They also told me that they would not sell me the TV unless I signed the form (as is their right since no contract of sale had been issued at that point prior to payment). Although not "forced" to sign as the option to walk away was available, the sale of the TV's was dependant on my signature.

Stop grasping at straws, re read the posts. Your answer is there.

Age and shoe size now springs to mind.
As I said before, a re-read brings up nothing new for all to see...

So it's no surprise that you have nothing further to add given that you have been completely shown up for what you are .. ;)

PMSL..

You are either stupid or a Liar... ;)

Nice try on your part to sidetrack ;) Sorry to back up Alarm's claim with personal evidence, but you did ask for contributions:cool:

What reaction are you looking for here?

Your calling me a liar, and another- fair enough. All are allowed an opinion here. It seems the truth is something you obviously have difficulties coping with.

Well enough has been said on this, keep baiting all night. You`ll be entertaining only yourself.

It's funny how those who claim something is true often can't quite come up with any substantial facts...

So if you (or anyone else) can come up with a legal requirement to fill out an address form when purchasing a tv then please do so...

Otherwise you are just talking b*llshit yet again...

Are the goalposts here,

here

or here?

Just for the fun of it.

Where, where did I say it was a legal requirement ? I said some stores asked for it to be filled in before purchase.
As was and is thier policy, no form filled no sale.

Now go back to your cave troll.

Now go back to your cave troll.
I suppose that grammatically it should have said:

"Now go back to your cave, troll"

or, equally as effective:

"Now go back to your troll cave" ;)

Either way i`m bored with it now. Point has been made.
Only one has resorted to swearing and abuse here.

Fair enough. Will make that phone call to Turkey holiday man tomorrow - can't be bothered to pm ;)

I'll just leave this discussion to you brokeback boys now... ;)

As I understand the reasons why you have to fill a form is, is a legal obligation for the retailer. A reseller, wouldn't necessarily wouldn't abide by that law. It's in the small print on the back of the TV license, anyone can check.

But mainly when threads fail as above...they get deleted anyway, so a good chance to ask why my partner is banned from posting? I'm sure other couples are allowed to post? Why is Mickyme banned? Mr Admin? It's my girlfriend. Even send me a PM telling me why, but stop deleting...
