LOLLucky for UK that Putin invaded Ukraine when he did.
LOLLucky for UK that Putin invaded Ukraine when he did.
I mentioned that they are vulnerable when facing an enemy with suitable kit but people thought otherwise. The main defence seems to be effectively a large calibre machine gun, Belt loaded with a very high firing rate. Then make the gun agile. I've read that the USA is working on the same for tanks. Able to track 8? targets. Increased as Russia came up with a dummy followed by the real thing. I wonder how many missiles a side would be prepared to fire to take out a carrier?Like the Moskva?
Bigger the boat, bigger the target,
Do you ever think about the results of that sort of thing to both sides? Obviously not.Make no mistake about it, if not for Putins invasion of Ukraine, the UK would be in a full scale trade war with the EU.
Not if someone puts a big enough hole in them.Big ships are expensive, and last a long time.
The EU has obviously thought about it.Do you ever think about the results of that sort of thing to both sides? Obviously not

Got a link to that? The EU has obviously thought about it.
The Protocol agreement which they said couldn't be renegotiated is now up for renegotiation.
The EU is now saying that only a couple of trucks a day now need to be inspected and only if there is reasonable suspicion of something dodgy on board.
They now realise how much they need Britain to bale them out in their self inflicted war in Ukraine.
35 MPH and I got a wee blast of Ra Ra Rasputin and stopped playing as I'd rather string him up by the nuts than punch him.how hard can you punch Putin
The idiot Johnson has been sacked now.
Let's hope Truss is not quite stupid enough to curry favour with the Brextremists by trying to foment hatred against our neigbours.
Luckily Tranny is not part of the government.
I very much doubt it.Got a link to that?
RUSI crunching the numbers:
. 'The winner in a prolonged war between two near-peer powers is still based on which side has the strongest industrial base. A country must either have the manufacturing capacity to build massive quantities of ammunition or have other manufacturing industries that can be rapidly converted to ammunition production. Unfortunately, the West no longer seems to have either.'
. 'behind the Russian invasion stands the world’s manufacturing capital – China. As the US begins to expend more and more of its stockpiles to keep Ukraine in the war, China has yet to provide any meaningful military assistance to Russia. The West must assume that China will not allow Russia to be defeated, especially due to a lack of ammunition. '
