for daring to challenge the terms and conditions of the With W
You mean the one that was a long time in the making, thoroughly read, amended, adjusted and then agreed to and made into law by Boris and his Brexers? That oven ready deal, that they all championed and sang hallelujah to?

Dared to my arse. What a shambolic embarrassment the Brexers are to the UK, especially when viewed by the international community.

A deal will be sorted tis how it works

Despite Macrons stance

Has any one told the scoundrel that he is in charge ( temporarily) if France not the EU ?

In any event Starmer will privately breath a sigh of relief as and when some deal is sorted

As if he forms the next government ?? The problem will fall into his lap and he def does not want that

Before Putins invasion, the arrogant EU was threatening to give the UK an economic punishment beating for daring to challenge the terms and conditions of the Withdrawal agreement.
Make no mistake about it, if not for Putins invasion of Ukraine, the UK would be in a full scale trade war with the EU.
As @JohnD said, nonesense! We negotiated the "oven ready" turkey, sorry deal, with the EU. It wasn't imposed on us, but like all international treaties it was and is binding in law. "Challenging the terms and conditions" is actually breaking a treaty, or in Boris terms welching, and as almost all contracts and treaties have penalty clauses within them which cover what happens of one side breaks their word, the EU was within its' rights to threaten to activate those terms. Johnson et al signed that deal. It wasn't something the French snesked on at the last minute whilst we weren't looking. The behaviur of the ERG and large oarts of the press, however, seem to make out that we are some kind if innocent. We aren't, but this government has shown itself to be dishonourable, deceitful and duplicitous in its' dealings with the EU and others. Remember that for the future - a treaty isn't a pair if knickers which can be changed if you don't like the colour

Russia has been sort of side lined in there own back yard

Russian peace keepers in Armenia were unable to keep the peace in the territory recent military spat

The USA have assured Armenia that they will defend there independance

China has also given the same assurances to another X soviet republic who are aligned with Russia

Putin was kept waiting for a meeting with the khazackstan president

This Ukranian caper has weakened Putin internationally in his own back yard

That fruit cake in Belarus will have a squeaky b* m (????)

China. They bought their aircraft carrier from the Ukrainians. It was a bit of a Meccano kit, mind you, with lots of stuff missing

The Chinese have several carriers
If I recall one was recently launched

Must have bought it from them a good while back ??

Russians have one carrier afaik assuming it’s still afloat

Although I think they may have an issue / problem as Dow Corning have boycotted sales of mastic to Russia :)

the UK would be in a full scale trade war with the EU
40% of UK exports go to EU

So no you aren’t correct
the arrogant EU was threatening to give the UK an economic punishment beating for daring to challenge the terms and conditions of the Withdrawal agreement
It is the UK that has been creating a phoney war with the EU….it keeps people like Gone cheering.

@transam - China's first operational carrier, the Laioning was built in Crimea and originally named Varyag. When the Russians left in 1991 there was no money to complete it, so Ukraine eventually sold it to China in 1998.

Big ships are expensive, and last a long time.
Like the Moskva?

Bigger the boat, bigger the target,
Nothing they can do about a supersonic missile or two.
China has very long range ones. USA is laggng behind. They must be busting nuts to catch up.
There are wake-following topedos too. 200kph, iirc.
