If I recall correctly, didn't South Africa, the country that complained about Israel, state that they wouldn't arrest Putin if he made a scheduled appearance in SA last year, despite being a signatory to the UN treaty that would oblige them to arrest him.

The ICJ can't work that fast, it's not designed to. It took a long time for Putin to be charged with war crimes too.

Well it certainly looks like that, and there are plenty of people voting to "send" more money who have contacts in the arms industry.

Well without direct USA boots on the ground facing Putin but instead sending unlimited amounts of arms for Ukrainians to fight with instead-isnt that the the very definition of a proxy war.

The stalemate is deliberately contrived by the West. They provide just enough arms and other assistance for Ukraine to hold back the Russians, but not enough for them to win.

For his own political advantage, Trump and his supporters seek to reduce the assistance so that Ukraine will be defeated.

I don't put much stock in the argument this is all going to plan. The US isn't cohesive enough to manage it's external foreign policy that well.

At the moment Russia is grinding down Ukraine. The North Korean amunition and the comparative lack of US means Russia is outgunning Ukraine again. They're taking hideous losses but so far they're willing to accept them.

If the ICJ decide that Israel is guilty of war crimes and a warrant for the arrest of Netanyahu is issued, do you seriously believe the arrest warrant could be enforced.
