Ukraine counter offensive

Conscription Squads are roaming the streets of Kyiv, checking to see if eligible cannon fodder are willing to sign up for slaughter. Surprisingly few. Most are hiding behind their net curtains hoping to avoid service. The Ukraine Counter Offensive is dead in the water, and Zelensky admitted this weekend they cannot win the war without NATO boots on the ground. Russian manpower is overwhelming them, as so many enemies before.
Putin has offered his terms, and it's up to them.

The Ukraine Counter Offensive is dead in the water,
I've heard comments that the counter offensive now will be next year - several times.
Also the ability of Ukraine to withstand the death of younger people due to forming age bubbles in the population.

The recent peace conferance in real terms is far from being one.

Meanwhile it's fed and the aim is to continue until Russia can't attack any more.

AlJ had a program on today concerning the spread of nuke deterrents and also improvements to more with multi warhead capabilities. Mention of Israel boosting plutonium production. I didn't listen to a lot of it. How accurate - pass.

Apparently Ukraine have attacked Russia at Kursk. Putin says it is a "major provocation".

A bit like Putin attacking Kiev.
They're raiding in force. The Kursk troops are conscripts so there's potential for a fast moving force to break through, raise havock for a day or three then leg it back home.

Like Russian troops did at Kiev.

Like Russian troops did at Kiev.
It depends, if they're aiming to stay and move forward to Moscow it's a good comparison. If they're just popping in for a swift Farage style Hotel review and leaving again it's different.

Would this be the first time since world war 2 that Russia has actually been invaded (?) by a foreign army ???

No nuclear response yet ?? From poo tin

It is definitely not the first time that Russia has invaded a neighbouring country.

In Putin's formative years, these invasions were successful and mostly unopposed, so his mindset is that Russia is entitled to colonise Europe, and he expected it to be easy.
