Interesting tenses, implies you're not European, or British.UK has a rentier economy predicated on selling money (well the illusion of money)
IN the space of a few short months, Europe has gone from relative prosperity to the early stages of deindustrialisation. This in a few short months, fast forward just 12 months and you can’t imagine the structural changes that will have occurred in your lifestyle.
Already there are accelerating transfers of Germany industries to Asia and even the US and the £/Euro rapid decline is structured to enable the US to obtain western assets on the cheap. US has been a parasite since its inception.
US accused Russia of blackmailing Europe with gas cheap gas supplies so they destroy the supply chain and then hikes replacement costs x 10
The Petro $ hegemony has ended so the US is now using the west as their Asia replacement for cheap labour.
Good luck
He does make a case in his latest 'rambling' though.I see the old duffer is rambling his fantasies again.
Funny thing is, he spouts his nonsense yet seems to believe he is clever and well-informed.
Wrong on both counts.
Hasn't that been the way of the world forHe does make a case in his latest 'rambling' though.
Taking a wider view; the geopolitical structure of Globalism is in pieces and Europe is, once again, caught in the middle of Superpower struggles for wealth, power and access to resources to grow their respective economies.
Tell me about the deindustrialisation he claims suddenly started in the last few months. He does make a case in his latest 'rambling' though.
Well, perhaps not so short a time span, say around 20 years.Tell me about the deindustrialisation he claims suddenly started in the last few months.
He does make a case in his latest 'rambling' though.
I'm sure a clever chap can find out by googlying the info.Tell me about cheap gas supplies. How much below the world price were they?
There has been an excellent demonstration of this today. Russia attacked the 'Glass bridge' in Kyiv. This is a vital military ground supply route for the Ukrainian armed forces, although It's not rated for armour, or vehicles of any sort. It is a pedestrian bridge made of glass. It connects two parks together and has some lovely views. It's really, really hard to destroy bridges without very high accuracy missiles and bombs.
Ukraine can't get aircraft over the bridge so that's out. I'm not sure their weapons are accurate enough without someone on the ground with a laser designator. But since their aircraft wouldn't survive to get over the target it's irrelevant.
It's a long way from anywhere Ukraine can launch missiles from. So tactical equipment like HIMARS standard missiles won't reach. The Ukrainian strategic missiles aren't that accurate and they don't have that many, they'd have to use a lot and it would be terrible PR if it didn't work.
So you need really high accuracy missiles with long range and large explosive warhead.
There are HIMARS compatible missiles that would be perfect for this (longer ranged and bigger warheads) but the US has decided not to give them to Ukraine so far. Even those might not be enough to really damage the rail line.
Western doctrine is to make sure you're fighting alongside Americans and get them to drop great big bunker buster bombs from Stealth bombers.
Being caught in the middle of a war and contributing to it is a new twist as far as all of europe is concerned. This is nothing like the so called cold war which wasn't a war at all. In fact the very use of the word war is misleading.Hasn't that been the way of the world fordecades, centuries, millennia?
This war will end. Someday. Another will begin. Another day. War is endless.Being caught in the middle of a war and contributing to it is a new twist as far as all of europe is concerned. This is nothing like the so called cold war which wasn't a war at all. In fact the very use of the word war is misleading.
It's also a twist for the USA. Why - it's having an effect on their economy. Biden reckons not a problem. They can boost energy supplies. That relies on companies investing to bring prices down.
When will this war end and what will be the result?
