VAT on education?

So here your are, claiming on one hand that pupil numbers are falling, and on the other hand you're also claiming that there's no room for additional pupils.
I think you've got yourself all confused. :ROFLMAO:

And you have just proven yourself to be totally and utterly deranged.

This was the post I referred to regarding shrinking pupil numbers.
As I posted before. There is gov info around about shrinking numbers of pupils The age groups are expected to run through to stable numbers ~2030. That obviously depends on any further birth rate changes so say some level.

Look at schools that have too many pupils and there are only a few and the extra numbers are relatively low. I recollect 10 being a max. They don't state what age group but the birth rate changes suggest those will be in the older end.

VAT on private schools - well it's coming and we will see any effects over time. I mean some one woke up one day and decided to do it and didn't give it any thought at all.

Why people use obscure web info when gov info is available defeats me but sometimes it's obviously why they do.

Teaching vacancies from .Gov website filtered by suitable for early career teachers so not just newly qualified shows 1037 jobs being advertised.

Several posters have stated that the schools in their areas are advertising for pupils. You can't have it both ways.

I haven't actually claimed anything, just passed comment on what others have claimed.

a. Some posters have claimed there won't be enough school places for ex private school pupils.
b. Some posters have claimed (backed up by a link) that that pupil numbers are falling and schools are advertising for pupils.

My response to that was (see above posted yesterday) you cant have it both ways.

I think you're the one who's confused.

You've pointed out that some state schools are over-subscribed and some not? Well done Einstein. What next? The sun rises in the east? It gets dark at night?

Yes boyo, it does happen both ways.
